Arizona has added another player to their 2013-14 roster, 6’10” 240 lb Zach Peters. Peters originally committed to Kansas, but left after his first semester due to concussion-related health issues.
The Plano, Texas product visited Arizona last weekend. Among the other schools he considered were Oklahoma, Texas, and North Texas. The addition of Peters gives Arizona more post depth after the departures of forwards Grant Jerrett and Angelo Chol.
Coming out of high school, Peters was recruited by Baylor, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas, and was a top 150 recruit. At Prestonwood Christian Academy he was a four-time all-state first team selection.
Peters left Kansas after the Fall 2012 semester after committing as a sophomore.
