Arizona will enter the season with their highest preseason rankings in over 10 years, as the Wildcats were voted #2 in the Associated Press Poll.

Kentucky was voted first, while Wisconsin, Duke, Kansas, North Carolina, Florida, Louisville, Virginia, and Texas round out the top ten.

Arizona received 5 first place votes, and finished with 1518 points to Kentucky’s 1604. A team receives 25 points for a first-place vote, 24 points for a second-place vote and so on.

Among the ranked teams on Arizona’s schedule are #13 Gonzaga and #24 Michigan. The Wildcats could also have a potential matchup with #16 SDSU in the Maui Invitational.

The only other Pac-12 team to make the Top 25 was Utah, who came in tied for #25.
