2015 big man Caleb Swanigan will visit Arizona for the Red/Blue game. Swanigan’s lead recruiter is Damon Stoudamire and he has Arizona in good position compared with the other schools recruiting Swanigan. Swanigan is coming off an impressive USA mini camp performance over the weekend. He will also visit Kentucky for their NBA combine prior to his Red/Blue visit. Swanigan will likely decide in the Spring.
2015 Stephen Zimmerman also had a solid USA mini camp over the weekend and Arizona’s Book Richardson continues to pursue him. He will visit Late Night in the Phog this weekend and will be in Tucson on November 7th. Kansas, UCLA and Arizona have been doing a great job recruiting big Zimm. Kentucky has also stayed consistent in recruiting Zimmerman.
2015 Ivan Rabb had a good in home visit with Arizona and we feel the Wildcats will make his Top 5. Just having to say that should tell you how Arizona is doing in the recruitment. A Red/Blue visit is still up in the air and Cal and UK seem to be driving this recruitment.
Joe Pasternack has done a great job on making up ground with 2016 forward TJ Leaf. The Wildcats are definitely in Leaf’s top three right now and a trip to the Red/Blue game should only help soldify their position.
2016 Zach Collins has also been made a priority for Arizona. Gonzaga, Arizona State, UNLV, Cal and UCLA are also recruiting the Bishop Gorman forward. Collins plans on deciding early in 2015.
2016 Michael Cage is another possible visitor for the Red/Blue game and Arizona is doing very well in this recruitment. We feel Arizona leads but this recruitment has a lot of time left in it.
2016 Jayson Tatum recently tweeted about Arizona and he definitely likes the Wildcats. The only problem is that Arizona will have to contend with UK, KU and Duke for his services. Arizona will need to get him on campus before it can hope to make more of an impact but no visit date has been discussed as of yet.
