It seems as though the Arizona coaching staff had an early eye on 2017 6’8 210 pound forward Ira Lee because Arizona has been relentless in their approach since his freshmen year and now as he enters his senior season Sean Miller is all in. Arizona had four eyes on Lee at every game during the Las Vegas experience and PGU talked to Lee about how everything is shaping out.

“You know I just wanted to show that I can do more things and I think I did that this summer. I think I shot the ball well and that was something that I was looking to do coming off of June up until now.”

Lee was able to step out and hit mid-range-extended jump shots and displayed good ball handling proving to be a mismatch. The four star also continued to attack the basket and had a ferocious dunk after an apparent injury to this shoulder, which didn’t seem to slow him down. “My last two points of my AAU career and I ended it with a bang,” he laughed.

“Overall I think I showed that I have an all around game and I wanted to prove that. I’m happy with the way things went I think we played really well together and we were able to win the Fab so that was good. I hurt my shoulder but we still won the championship so we couldn’t be happier.”

Now that he enters his senior year Lee can now look to decide on a school for the future and it wont be long as Lee has told PGU in the past that he is not waiting to be a spring signee. Being from Arizona and coming off a visit with the Wildcats Lee told PGU, “that’s like home for me. Coach Miller has been putting out great wings like Hill, Stanley, Gordon and he’s been telling me since I was a freshmen that I fit that mold of a versatile forward.”
