Arizona had another brilliant performance in a 91-69 smack down of the Stanford Cardinal. Sean Miller is 10-0 all time versus Stanford, and the Cats closed out the season with a 190-129 margin of victory against the Bay Area schools.

The Wildcats continued their hot shooting, hitting 29 of 54 field goal attempts, good for 53.7%. They were also scorching from beyond the three point arc, converting 8 of 17 attempts from long distance. They also got to the line 32 times, hitting 25 of 32 attempts for 78%.

Five different Arizona players scored in double figures, thanks to TJ McConnell who had an incredible senior day performance. McConnell had 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 steals in just 25 minutes of play. Over his last two games, McConnell has racked up 22 assists with just 2 turnovers.

Arizona also got a big boost off the bench from Gabe York, who converted 4 of 7 shots for 13 points. York also nailed 3 of 5 three point attempts.

Brandon Ashley led the Wildcats with 15 points and 9 rebounds, in an efficient 5 of 7 shooting performance. Sophomore Rondae Hollis-Jefferson was effective as well, hitting 5 of 9 shots for 14 points and 7 rebounds. Both Ashley and Hollis-Jefferson played a team high 29 minutes.

Arizona forced 15 turnovers, frustrating the Cardinal all day. They also turned those turnovers into 25 points, a huge factor in the Wildcats’ victory.

Kaleb Tarczewski was a force in the paint, scoring 13 points on 4 of 5 shooting from the field. He was also 5 of 7 from the free throw line.

Next up for Arizona is the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas, where the Wildcats could potentially climb from a 2 seed to a 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
