Arizona coaches Sean Miller and Book Richardson will meet with Rondae Jefferson and his family today to discuss his potential role with the Wildcats. Jefferson is one of the best players in the class of 2013, and projects to be a game changing player at the college level.
Jefferson officially visited Tucson last weekend and the visit was said to be near perfect. The whole visit was so positive that it was thought that Jefferson might commit on the spot. However, Jefferson returned to Chester, PA and will continue to be recruited by the Arizona coaching staff.
Coach Miller has become well known for his in home visits, which give the coaches a chance to explain the nuances of the Arizona program.
Jefferson will have several members of his family present including his mother. The visit serves as a chance for the coaches to meet the family members that were unable to come out to Tucson.
Miller has done his due diligence in recruiting Jefferson and has taken the time to involve Jefferson’s entire family. Jefferson and his family have handled the recruitment at their own pace and have never been pressured for a commitment.
Arizona is considered the leader in the recruitment and hopes to add its second player to the 2013 class.
