Arizona was excellent at the free throw line, hitting 23 of 26 attempts. Their aggressiveness was a key factor in blowing the game open to the point that Cal could not retaliate.
Freshman Dusan Ristic was excellent on offense, scoring 12 points on 5 of 6 shooting. With Kaleb Tarczewski and Brandon Ashley in early foul trouble, Ristic’s minutes in the first half were extremely important.
