Sean Miller’s main goal during the second part of the July evaluation period is to be at every one of Keith Frazier’s games. So far he has done that and much more. This morning Miller watched Aaron Gordon, Jabari Bird and Stanley Johnson on the Oakland Soldiers. The following game he watched Keith Frazier while Book Richardson watched Rondae Jefferson. Sean Miller and Book Richardson then both watched Keith Frazier. Currently, Sean Miller is watching the Oakland Solders play Rondae Jefferson’s Team Final. Book Richardson is watching James Young and Ishmail Wainright play against each other. That is your up to the minute report from Augusta.

Book Richardson also watched 2015 point guard Isaiah Briscoe earlier today.

Joe Pasternack and James Whitford were in LA watching some 2014 prospects yesterday and will spend the remainder of the evaluation period scouting mostly west coast recruits such as Elliot Pitts, Jordan McLaughlin and Craig Victor.

However, the focus of this week is Peach Jam and Arizona’s top priorities. Just because that’s not what Scout or Rivals is covering doesn’t mean it’s not the focus. It just means Southwest doesn’t do fun fares to the east coast.

Sean Miller’s overall goal is to attend as many of Keith Frazier’s, Rondae Jefferson’s and Oakland Soldiers games as he can.

When he can’t, Book Richardson will be watching those games. Book Richardson was seen sitting with Dayton head coach Archie Miller today in Augusta as well. Those two are good friends and it reminds me of when Archie was hired by Dayton. Do you know who one of his first phone calls was to?

He called Book to ask him if he knew anyone he could recommend for his assistant coaching positions. Why? Because the general belief in the recruiting world is that Book Richardson knows everybody.

Sean Miller will also scout some younger talent as he loves to do at Peach Jam. That’s how we first learned Arizona was recruiting Brian Bridgewater last year.

Rondae Jefferson’s play at the Nike Global and today impressed PGU. Jefferson has been selected to the Under Armour Elite 24 in Venice Beach.

Keith Frazier didn’t play well in Philly in front of Arizona last week so it’s nice to see him bounce back today.

Stanley Johnson is visiting Arizona August 7th.

Jabari Bird has named a top 2 of Cal and Washington. He is still looking at Arizona but we believe Cal is the team to beat.

PGU will be live in Augusta all day tomorrow so stay tuned to our live coverage thread.
