Sean Miller and his staff will be back in Las Vegas this week after recruiting in Sin City earlier this month at the Lebron James Skills Academy.

The Arizona staff spent the first two weeks of the July evaluation period mirroring Allonzo Trier and Ivan Rabb. The coaches also watched a lot of Stephen Zimmerman, Isaiah Briscoe, and Chance Comanche.

This week the staff heads to Las Vegas to watch Zimmerman, Briscoe and Comanche, and the Arizona staff should be at most of their games. Rabb will be in Colorado Springs for Team USA U17 tryouts and Trier won’t be in Vegas either.

The staff will stop by to see Rabb play in Colorado Springs and will also likely stop in Oklahoma to watch Allonzo Trier.

Miller has made it a point to see Comanche first at the beginning of almost every evaluation period this year. That means he’s Arizona’s to lose.

With Rabb and Trier elsewhere this week, it will give the staff some more time to evaluate the 2016 and 2017 classes when they are not following Zimmerman, Briscoe and Comanche. Sean Miller will also likely watch Arizona commit Justin Simon in the Adidas Super 64.

The top priority of the 2016 class is Michael Cage Jr, and Arizona is in great position with the Mater Dei star. Other than Cage Jr, Arizona is doing well with TJ Leaf in the 2016 class.

Arizona likely leads for 2017 Cody Riley, who will be playing in Vegas this week. Arizona should be at a number of his games.

Another 2017 name to watch out for is DeAndre Ayton who has most NBA scouts salivating. Arizona was one of the first high-major schools to offer Ayton.

One more week and the coaches can start focusing on official visits and the current players on campus.

However, look for the Arizona staff to parlay their dominance on the recruiting trail this summer into some early commitments this fall.

Or sooner.

It will only be a matter of time before Miller makes another statement around the country.
The Ray Smith commit is one that kept people focused on what Arizona is doing.
I think the dominoes are about to fall with this 2015 class the only question is when..

Love that Arizona likely leads for Cody Riley. If Arizona can roll out a front court with Ayton and Riley in 2017, watch out because those guys are beasts.
