This really hurts SC but as they are media darlings they should still get a very good seed

It makes me even more stumped as to why Herb Sendek can get such a sorry bunch to be twice the defensive team that we are...Is defense that big of a mystery? Get into a wide, grounded stance. Keep your guy in front of you. Learn how to defend one and two passes away. Box out and call out picks and switches. Play hard. Yeah, you're going to get scored upon, but the offense should have to work and fail a lot if you just do the fundamentals, I would think, with our athletes.

ASU likes to slow the game down. We don't. If their style wins out (i.e. they get an early lead and put the pressure on us), then they have a good chance to beat us. Our home game against ASU is the only game we have won playing that style. And as of recently, ASU seems to be playing better than us. They were more competitive against UCLA, they beat USC. ASU has a very good chance to beat us on their court. It is probably close to a coin flip... 55% chance for Arizona, 45% chance for Arizona State.

haha what are you talking about? ....nobody is picking ASU....we are saying they are capable of winning...they have been playing much much better lately and im sure theyd love to beat us 3x as much as USC....not saying we will lose....but i think it will be closer than people think

they did the same thing to the LA schools the first time around (they didnt beat USC though) and we ran that ass of the floor!!!!

arizona will win. ASU will have a chance to win before the game starts, but after the ball is thrown up in the air, all i can see is zona winning.

UA is going to crush ASU this week.

The sad thing for me though is that next year ASU is probably going to put the beat down on Oregon State :(

After the Arizona game, ASU lost their next five games by a total of 20 points, including a one point loss to WSU (closer than the two games we had), a 4 point loss to Oregon, and a six point loss to UCLA, where they were leading for a large part of the game.

It's not inconceivable to think that ASU can keep it close. I don't know why beardown is so convinced that we're still a great team.

If you just look at the schedule and the results you can tell ASU is not as bad as their record would say.

Because we have to much talent that is why. We have been in every game that we have lost execpt UNC and UCLA. i think we are great becuase that is what a TRUE fan does, you know stand behind his Team though thick and thin (and i would know thick and thin as i am a Twins and Vikings fan) Yes i know we have struggled since the start of the new year. but the Pac is so good this year that we should have expected some losses. not 7 but some loses.

That kinda **** makes me :056:

Ok, so now your saying I'm not a true fan because I'm realistic. Just face it, we're not as good as you say we are. All I said was that we're not a great team. We have a lot of talent but great teams win close games, and great teams don't lose five home games.

Just because I don't blindly believe that the cats will dominate every game makes me less of a fan? All I'm saying is look at the facts...ASU is not as bad as their record makes them seem

ASU sucks. all i am saying is that they played USC and UCLA close in LA than came to Tucson and we ran them off the floor. that is what is gonna happen on sunday!!
