Not to defend the SEC, but can't help noticing 4 of the games on this list are against SEC teams.

no, i think the sec has a few quality teams (lsu, auburn, flordia..with perhaps uga and tennesse) but NONE of the before mentioned teams leave the south...pathetic

I voted for USC, although there are some question marks on that team. Hell, there were questions marks after Carson Palmer graduated and they did alright. Some guy named Matt Leinert stepped in a did pretty good job.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Anyone could have made that mistake, but you were the only one.

that should be cool, speaking of that i think i'll play a little Uf v Ut on NCAA 2007..i'll be tennesse cause of Ainge and they are underdogs

once again the Trojans win the conference, it will be much harder this time around but all of those road games like the ones to UO and ASU will be at home this time
Their passing game will be utterly unstoppable, Jarrett, Smith, Booty as well as some of the younger WRs they got, wow
Whitus004
08-04-2006, 01:23 PM
It's going to take me a few games to be convinced that their passing game will again me unstopable. Yes they have the best WR's in the nation, but Booty has yet to play a meaningful down since H.S. Is he going to be the next Palmer/Lienert? possible, but i'll wait to see.
OSU8085
08-04-2006, 05:14 PM
well I think Booty wil contend for the Heisman, if not tis year but next year for sure
USC is by far the most talented team but im not sure if that translates to bcs grloy, i thnik it doe though

If you had to play either Tennessee, FSU at home, UGA on neutral and South Carolina and LSU on the road or Tennessee/FSU on the road and LSU/South Carolina at home every year, not to mention the other West teams you play. (Auburn/Bama/Arkansas are a guarantee for us to play at least 1 every year). You certainly wouldn't schedule any other games away from the South. I don't think last years Texas or the last 3 USC teams could go undefeated with our schedule this year.
Who else in the nation plays a schedule that includes....
@Tennessee
Alabama
@Auburn
LSU(OUR FRICKING HOMECOMING GAME)
UGA on neutral site(the above 3 as 3 games in a row)
Cocks at home(Spurrier's 1st trip back)
@FSU
If we get through all of that we have to play Auburn or LSU in a revenge game in the SEC Championship.
Our "cupcakes" are UCF who lost 49-48 in a bowl last year and Southern Miss who won a bowl last year and was a Tyrone Prothro amazing catch away from beating Alabama. (We do play Western Carolina though as a true cupcake).
We have 7 bowl teams from last year on our schedule and that doesn't even include Tennessee who definetely won't have another season like last years.
If we lose 2 games, we should be in a BCS bowl and should receive consideration for the National Championship based on strength of schedule alone. Who else can say they have 7 games as hard or harder than that on their schedule? Who else can say they even have 5 games as hard as those?

Yeah, depending on classload I might be taking a trip up to Tennessee this year too. Maybe I'm good luck, we've only lost 1 game that I've been to. 12-1 (6-1 in my freshman year-all the home games +FSU and 6-0 last year). If you go have fun, from what I hear Neyland stadium is a very loud stadium(but not as loud as the Swamp). I would highly suggest anyone if they ever get a chance to go to a game at the Swamp. It is consistently ranked the #1 toughest place to play and the fans go absolutely crazy the entire game. It's a great experience.

its ok you guys are a bunch of pussies
no you want to know the truth to why sec teams dont have to leave the south? $$$$$$....sec teams have it teams like oregon state dont...thus osu has to travel to lsu, lsu doesnt have to go to corvallis...simple fact
