I spent some time at the annual Tucson Summer Pro League on Saturday and found it to have a certain buzz it hadn’t had in recent years.
Then there they were: Arizona player Branden Lavender, Kyle Fogg and Garland Judkins, in uniform and playing. David Bagga had already come and gone and a little known secret was that Hassan Adams had already played a full game the previous week. It’s going to be that kind of season for Corey Williams and the TSPL Bunch.[coverattach=1]
Already, it’s Sunday morning and Williams calls to tell me it looks like Jordan Hill, UA’s sensation in the front court, is expected in the gym at the Northwest Center (6th Ave, just south of Grant) on Sunday at 2 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
How many times do you get to see a NBA lottery player in action?

Nice to see some of the returning guys getting in work against the likes of J Hill. Sounds like a great event.

Bagga asked me to head down there but I was too tired yesterday. I will try to catch some games this coming weekend.

I liked Jordan throwing out the first pitch at the Mets game, even though I don't like the Mets. That has to be a rush.
