PGU Media Poll, “Coach O’Neill Conference tops!”
But Team Elliott remains team to beat in League
Tucson - The PGU Medial Poll released it’s conference rankings today and listed The Coach O’Neill Conference #1.
#1 Coach O’Neill Conference
Strengths: Teams Kerr and Budinger will fight it out like Ali vs Foreman. This conference has the most talent players from top to bottom. In fact, we do not see a single starter who isn’t legit (that is only if Team Bagga shows up to play).
Weakness: Team Bagga could be the biggest bust. Last season the media loved Bagga4WoodenAward and keep him in the Top 25 almost as long as they did WiseByndHisYrz. Bagga4WoodenAward is sort of the Arizona Cardinals of PGU. The news sources like the PGU Star and PGU Gazette will for sure jump on his bandwagon and say “This is Bagga4WoodenAwards year” but will he deliver? The always controversial Bariqua and steppedinit are also two members who could call it quits early on.
Potential surprise: Team Reeves with Statman, UACTSFAN1 and BDMcGee A collection of "heady" players, who for some reason were not able to put it together last season.
Hottest Player: azcatfan_84
desertrat218, a leading Pick ‘Em player in both UA basketball and UA hoops. Said, “I've seen a lot of hype over team Kerr, so they did well in the pre-season, we all know how much the pre-season is worth. When the "real" games begin, you can count on "Team Bud" stepping up and showing them how it's done. We will take the Coach O'Neal conference, you can bank on that!”
Media Poll Conference Rankings:
#1 Coach O’Neill
#2 Coach Olson
#3 Coach Simon
#4 Coach Pastner
Coach Olson Conference
Team Elliott aka LVH will most likely run away with the conference championship, though Team Hill will offer some competition. Jdull might be capable of putting a solid Team Dickerson together. Teams Gardner and Frye are just a mess right now.
Winner: Pencil-in Team Elliott and it’s “all-stars” into your finals.
Hottest Player: AZWldctFan
Coach Simon Conference
Team Arenas should take the Coach Simon trophy, with Stoudamire, Jet and Bibby battling it out for second. OSU8085 needs to restructure his team if he expects to be competitive.
Winner: Team Arenas, though DoubleJ or BigRed_UofA could be the best players in the conference.
Hottest Player: DoubleJ
Coach Pastner Conference
Teams Edgerson and JMac will fight it out for the sop spot of the Coach Pastner Conference. Team Walton, Onobun and Bayless are in disarray.
Winner: Toss Up
Hottest Player: watch the rookies Big Art and Cats4Life
AROUND THE LEAGUE
The Pick ‘Em season is still in pre-season, but is already ripe with scandal and smack. WyoWildcatsFan wants out of his contract and is demanding that lilbowie trade him.
desertrat held a press conference today and said that “I'm sure OSU will pull some kind of trick out of his bag and figure out a way to cheat his team into the playoffs.” Last season drat and OSU were in heated battled over the legitimacy of OSU8085’s football Pick ‘Em league.
