Archie Miller Headed To Dayton

April 2nd, 2011 News No Comments

Dayton will hire Arizona assistant Archie Miller.

As Wildcat fans know, Archie is the 32 year old younger brother of head coach Sean Miller. Archie is known for his tenacity on the bench and his recruiting ability.

Archie has been with Arizona for two years after working with Thad Matta at Ohio State. Before that he spent a year with Herb Sendek at Arizona State. Archie played college basketball for N.C. State

At first Miller wasn’t considered the leader for the job, but after other candidates dropped out, Dayton targeted Archie.

Reports are the deal has been agreed to, while details are still being negotiated.

Archie will be the 19th head coach at Dayton.

PGU wishes Archie the best of luck. He was a tremendous coach and an even better individual. It was a matter of time before he was a head coach. Unfortunately for Wildcat fans it happened sooner than later.
