Chester, Pennsylvania native Rondae Jefferson will visit Arizona tomorrow and Saturday. On Saturday he will attend the Arizona/Oklahoma State football game.

Rondae Jefferson is a 6’6 small forward and is considered to be a top 10 player in the class of 2013. Jefferson is a must get for Sean Miller and the Arizona coaching staff. Arizona needs an elite wing player and Jefferson would be the ideal fit for the position.

Jefferson visited Arizona unofficially just two weeks ago as first reported by PGU. Arizona hopes to land a commitment any time it has a top recruit on campus, and nothing has changed from two weeks ago. Jefferson hasn’t visited any schools in the last two weeks and he has no visits scheduled.

Further, Sean Miller will visit Jefferson in Chester, PA on September 12th for an in home visit.

Jefferson will visit this weekend with his mother and Arizona will try to make it a perfect visit. If that happens, then we could see Jefferson making his pledge to Arizona before he leaves Tucson or shortly after.

Anyone experiencing deja vu?

Landing a commitment would be absolutely huge for Arizona, not only on the hardwood, but on the recruiting trail as well. Elliott Pitts was a fantastic way to start off the class, but a commitment from Jefferson makes Arizona that much more attractive to recruits.

Jefferson has not publicly mentioned a favorite and his official list is still seven schools.

PointGuardU feels Arizona is the team to beat and that’s because we believe Arizona is the perfect school for Jefferson. With Solomon Hill and Kevin Parrom gone after this season, Arizona is the ideal place for Jefferson to make a name for himself. Arizona and the Pac-12 could be the perfect launching pad for Jefferson, given his skills and mindset. Arizona is just the right place for him and it’s hard to argue with that.

And that’s why all eyes are on Rondae Jefferson…again.

It could be a good weekend in Arizona regardless of the how the football game turns out.
