2015 Stephen Zimmerman is one of the best players in his class. Take a look at what makes the 7 footer special in this mix from the Pangos All-American Camp. Also read this description from our player database:

“The best shooting post player in his class, Zimmerman is one of the most unique 2015 prospects….. Excellent touch and a feathery jumpshot make his offensive game quite advanced for his age…… Has a reliable midrange shot and can even hit from the three point line….. Has good timing as a shot blocker, doesn’t leave his feet too early….. Plays within the team concept and rarely tries to do too much, appears to be a high IQ player who takes to coaching well….. For a 7 footer, has great quickness….. Can be stiff/mechanical at times, but has appeared more fluid as he continues to develop physically….. Added lower body strength will do wonders for his inside game….. Zimm’s shooting ability is what sets him apart from other prospects, his range will pose major problems at the college level as long as he can defend more physical players in the post.” (4/27/14)

Been keeping an eye on this kid for a while now, his improvement is impressive, he should be extremely dominant at the college level and under the right coach and on the right team should do well at the NBA level where we see more and more non-traditional position players thriving.

Zimmerman has a great jumper and moves for a high school big man. I hope he comes to Arizona.

Whoever is lucky enough to have this kid on their team in college is going to be incredible. He alone can change an entire team it appears since he pretty much does it all. It’s not often you see a guy this size move this well.

Rarely am I overly-impressed watching big-time high school guys dominate kids who remind me of myself in high school! The video of this kid caught my eye with almost every move. Could be a top 3 pick in the 2016 NBA draft. Really well-rounded skill-set, great size, quickness, athleticism, and seems to have confidence. Reminds me of a more athletic Raef Lafrentz. Should be deadly for whoever lands him. Thanks for the video!
