After breaking the regular season scoring record in the Nike EYBL, 2015 guard Allonzo Trier continued his hot shooting at the Nike Peach Jam.

In his first game of Friday’s action, Trier poured in 24 points for his Athletes First club. He also hit 3 of 7 from three point range, as well as 9 of 12 from the free throw line. Trier has made a living getting to the free throw line throughout EYBL play and he was difficult to contain today as well.

Trier rounded out a great stat line for a shooting guard with 4 rebounds 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block.

The hot shooting guard erupted in his second game of the day, hitting 12 of 18 shots for 35 points. He was deadly from deep, nailing 4 of 8 triples, and Trier was once again effective at the line where he converted 7 of 9 attempts. He added another block and steal as well.

Trier played a game high 32 minutes in each contest.

He was also putting up points on Thursday, when he scored 26 on 8 of 12 shooting. He also got to the free throw line 14 times, converting 9 of them. He followed up that performance with a 27 point outburst, including 12 of 14 from the charity stripe.

Through the first two days of action, Trier is averaging a stout 28 points per game.

Trier’s amazing at drawing fouls. If he nails three-pointers like he has at this Peach Jam, he’ll be unstoppable.

Sounds like he would make a good Wildcat. Hope he was playing that hard to impress Coach Miller!

Gotta love a kid that knows how to put the ball in the hoop!! Allonzo seems like he’d fit a glaring need for us, hopefully he decides to pull the trigger on AZ.

The more I read about this kid and how he has been lighting up the scoreboard the more I am anxious to see how he would gel in our system and if he would be able to continue to put up good numbers as a freshman.

Arizona bound? Talent and quickness with his strength is almost cheating.
